Who we are

ScrapCatch is operated by Amygence AB, a company registered in Sweden. Amygence AB is the data controller for personal data processed through this store. You can reach us at hello@scrapcatch.com or +46 72 246 38 73.

What we collect

• Order details: name, email, phone, shipping and billing address, items ordered.
• Payment data: handled by our payment providers. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Support messages you send us by email or phone.
• Marketing consent and email preferences, if you sign up.
• Basic technical data such as device, browser and pages visited, used to keep the store working.

Why we use it

To process and ship your order and handle pre-orders, to provide customer support, to prevent fraud, to meet bookkeeping and tax obligations, and — only with your consent — to send you drop announcements and product news. Our legal bases are contract performance, legal obligation, legitimate interest and consent.

Who we share it with

We share only what is needed with processors who help us run the store: our e-commerce and checkout platform, payment providers, shipping carriers, and our email service. They may only process data on our instructions. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records are kept for as long as Swedish accounting law requires (currently seven years). Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Support messages are kept up to 24 months.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to your data, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. Email us and we will respond within 30 days. You may also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).

Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary for the cart and checkout to work, plus optional analytics cookies to understand how the store is used. You can clear or block cookies in your browser; necessary cookies are required for ordering.
